'Old Florida Beach Resort' Your Family Will Love to Visit Year After Year...
My family and I have just returned from the most amazing place on the planet.
This place is an island off the coast of Florida with seven and one-half miles of magnificent white-sand beaches that extend from Tampa Bay in the north to Longboat Key Pass at its southernmost tip.
It's called Anna Maria Island.
Each of three small villages—Anna Maria in the north, Holmes Beach at mid-island and Bradenton Beach to the south — boasts its own special character.
There are tons of restaurants, cafes and specialty places to snack, chow down or relax with your family or mate and enjoy a gourmet meal.
Go to the where to eat section of our Anna Maria Island Information Directory for a comprehensive list of places to wine, dine and snack on Anna Maria Island.
Throughout the island, narrow winding streets give way to lush tropical growth that embellishes a mixture of contemporary and historic buildings. Anglers of all ages fish from rustic piers while sailboats skim the azure blue coastline.
Anna Maria Island is an “Old Florida” beach resort that families love to visit year after year. I know mine did, and we're going to come back!
