Anna Maria Island : Noise Free, Stress Free and Care Free...
This is it folks, I've finally found paradise on earth, a piece of this pale blue dot we call home, where you’ll be far away from city noise, cars fumes and the smell of industry, a place that is virtually noise free, stress free and care free.
A place in the sun where you’ll absolutely enjoy spending the time of your life walking in warm, clean sand on pristine beaches in the Gulf of Mexico.
Are you tempted by what I've told you so far?
Of course you are, who in their right mind wouldn't be.
Where is this wonderful place of which I speak?
This wonderful place is an island called Anna Maria Island. It is located on the central west coast of Florida, and it is a place I have grown to love as a second home. That's right, I go there often, quite often. I visit Anna Maria Island every opportunity I get and would move there except I need to be close to family. Maybe one day I will call Anna Maria Island my home instead of my home away from home.
It doesn't matter whether you go to Anna Maria Island with friends or family, or you simply go by yourself... it is always an amazing place to find yourself.
You can stay in Holmes Beach, Bradenton Beach or Anna Maria City... or you can be non-centrally located and just drift around from one beach to the next. It really is that laid back. The people are great and when you're there you almost feel as though you've gone back in time to a place where things where different than they are today.
Some call it Old Florida, and I guess it is. Even if you've traveled elsewhere in Florida, and don't get me wrong, all of Florida is amazing... I recommend you visit Anna Maria Island. It truly is unique in its own way.
My favorite thing to do when on Anna Maria Island is to walk the beach and see the dolphins playing in the surf, the birds playing in the Gulf breeze, and people just having fun.
It was a friend that first took me to Anna Maria Island and I've been returning ever since. That was almost 10 years ago now and sure things have changed, but its never lost its appeal.
It's a hypnotic experience being on Anna Maria Island. The natural beauty is unsurpassed in my humble opinion. My next step is to save enough money to invest in a home. Then I could go there when I wanted and rent it out as a vacation rental when I wasn't there.
I'm told the money I could make would more than pay for my travel expenses getting to Anna Maria Island and back to the west coast.
It's definitely where I want to spend my retirement years. I like the laid back atmosphere, the people and the environment. What else is there?

Hmmm, I'm beginning to feel the warm Gulf breeze blowing through my hair as I recall my last steps on the beaches of Anna Maria Island. I simply cannot wait until I return to my paradise in the sun!
