After nearly four months of hectic, intense planning, the Island’s Bridging the Gap fall schedule of events gets under way this week with a host of fun events, each designed to bring people to Anna Maria Island despite the bridge closure.
The popular Bridge Street Market in Bradenton Beach returns on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Local vendors will offer fresh produce and flowers, flower arrangements and plants, arts and crafts, T-shirts and clothing, jewelry and much, much more.

The Bridge Street Market
The Bridge Street Market is located at 107 Bridge Street in Bradenton Beach, on beautiful Anna Maria Island. It is scheduled to re-open on Saturday, Oct. 4, for the fall.
Bridge Street Market is an open-air market featuring fresh produce, plants and flowers, jewelry, artwork, cookbooks, purses, T shirts, photography by local artists, stained glass, angels, crystal sandals, wood art, garden art, antiques and collectibles, furniture and more.
Entertainment will be provided by the island sounds of DJ Tom Barrons.
