Land Beneath Our Feet...
South Florida Museum: 201 10th St. W., Bradenton
The exhibit, "Land Beneath Our Feet" explores the uniqe geological history of Florida, from how the area was formed millions of years ago to current enviromental issues.
Featured in the East Gallery, the exhibition includes tectonic plate theory timelines, graphics and deep earth core samples. Fossils also will be shown.
Land Beneath Our Feet continues through Aug. 31.
The South Florida Museum in the largest natural and cultural history museum on Florida's west coast and is one of the oldest museums in the state. The facility includes the Bishop Planetarium and Parker Manatee Aquarium.
