The wedding sand ceremony is very popular in places such as California and Florida where there is such an abundance of beautiful beach settings and of course lots of sand.

There are a number of different ways to perform the sand unity ceremony.

Traditionally, two vessels of sand are poured together either into a third keepsake vessel, or into the wind to represent the coming together of your lives.  Over the next few posts we will outline and describe in more detail a few of the more popular Wedding Sand Ceremonies commonly performed on Anna Maria Island.

For the price of  $25, I can supply what you need and save you the time and energy that shopping requires.  The kit will be on display in our home when you meet with Charlie in preparation for your ceremony.

Anna Maria's sister cities are Holmes Beach, just to the south of the city of Anna Maria, and Bradenton Beach, which stretches to the southern tip of Anna Maria Island.

Holmes Beach is the commercial center of the Island and the largest of the three Island communbities.

Bradenton Beach on the other hand caters to and is dependent upon the tourists and their activities.
