Florida Paradise:
Gulf Coast Island in the Sun...
Anna Maria Island is located on the west coast of Florida. It serves as a natural barrier between the Gulf of Mexico and Tampa Bay.
It's white sand beaches stretch 7 miles along the Gulf coastline.
As a result of its natural terrain, Anna Maria Island is comprised of a network of canals that allow for an interesting and diverse selection of possible water-front lifestyles.

Anna Maria Island Ecology and Old Florida Philosophy
Anna Maria Island supports a very special ecology and "Old Florida" philosphy. The laid-back lifestyle allows its residence, and visitors alike, time to step back from the hectic energies of mocern living and simply take a walk on the beach or enjoy a picnic at sunset.
In a future post, we will provide a brief describe the community of Anna Maria City and how it differs from the other Island communities of Bradenton Beach and Holmes Beach.
