November--Saturday, Nov. 10 the Public is invited to the Grand Opening celebration of the New Anna Maria Island Community Center.

The Anna Maria Island Community Center is open Monday - Friday 9:00am-9:00pm and Saturdays from 9:00am-5:00pm.

Starting in October, the Anna Maria Island Community Center will be opened from 9:00am-9:00pm on Saturdays... Closed on Sundays.

Memories by Billi is an Anna Maria Island photography company that will take pictures of any of your important island events... specializing in beach weddings.

Billi has had an... eye for design... and the... ability to make things look beautiful... ever since she was a little girl. Her many years of art and design coupled with her innate photographic talent gives her the tools to help you tell your story through incredible pictures.

Billi offers her time by the hour... minimum of 2-3 hours depending on the event... giving you the ability to order your choice of pictures and services al a cart. Her packages start @ $1995.oo and range from 4, 6, 8, or 10 hours coverage for your event, depending on your wants and needs.

There are different extras to each package, and a variety of online services. There are different album collections to choose from, including...

slideshows, “Your Wedding Story Book”, online guestbook and others.

Local Notary Public Officiates 700th Ceremony

Nancy J. Taussig, a Notary Public in Sarasota who marries people, officiated at her 700th ceremony recently.   The bride and groom eloped to Florida and spoke their personalized wedding vows on a Longboat Key beach.

A Notary Public since 1984, Taussig began officiating at weddings in 1990.
