Every week or so we are going to be adding a new feature article to our Anna Maria Life article archive. Sometimes it will be an article we have written, sometimes it will be information we have researched, compiled and published... it can even be content or a full feature article that you our reader, Anna Maria Island residence, business owners, or island vacationers submit to us for publication.
The way our feature articles and archive work is this. The current feature article will be published to our article archive home page and there will also be a brief introduction to it on the www.AnnaMariaIslandLife.com home page complete with a link pointing you to the full version of the feature.... simple enough.
The article will also be blogged about here, and there will be a post added to our Anna Maria Island Life public forum.
So, if you are interested in writing articles or content about something "on, about or to do with" Anna Maria Island... something you think will be of interest the community... then contact us.
Your feature can be about current events, special events, island life, why you love Anna Maria Island, a hobby or specific passion you have on the island... or it can even be about your business and how it has evolved it's niche within the Anna Maria Island Community.
You don't even need to be a resident. You can write an article about your vacation experience on Anna Maria Island and even send us photos so we can link your article to a photo gallery page we will create just for you!
Who knows, maybe you would like to be a guest blogger right here on our Anna Maria Island Life Blog. If you have something of particular interest that is ongoing we can set up an entire category dedicated to your specific topic of interest.
Perhaps you are a member of a non profit or some other Anna Maria Island community group and would like to use the opportunity to educate the community you live in about your cause. Perhaps you are a teacher or involved with children at some level and would like to use it as an opportunity for the children of Anna Maria Island to be published.... and heard... the choice is yours!

hi billi... yes it is cool to be part of a project that has so many ways for its visitors to interact and contribute. anna maria island life is probably the most fun project i have worked on in quite some time. it will take some serious word of mouth to get the word get out but once it does i think people from many different niches within the anna maria island community will come up with all kinds of ideas as to how they can take advantage of our offer to publish their feature articles, images or some other topical content to the anna maria island life website, blog and/or forum etc. anyone involved with or interested in the success of a organized event, business owners interested in providing information within their niche or passion, members of community groups with something of interest to share, teachers and students involved in community related projects or simply with something to say, and of course there is always "just for fun".... it really is unlimited the potential. heck, i can set someone up as a guest blogger so long as their topic is appropriate and they are committed to providing frequent enough posts. for instance someone interested or involved with the "anna maria island turtle watch" could post to a special section of the blog that is dedicated just to promoting awareness of the turtles and the dangers they face to survive, and journal all activity surrounding the island turtle watch efforts. in fact potentially if someone from the island was committed enough and wanted to provide ongoing content on a subject that was of particular importance and interest to the island community, we could set up a blog specifically for them to run with.... but of course that would take some serious commitment on their part and it would have to be an appropriate anna maria island related topic of mutual interest to a large number of anna maria island residence... any way i ramble... lol.

just thought i would mention here that for anyone with something to say or contribute, these blog comment areas are about the quickest, easiest and most informal way to do it.
its easy to do and you can even do it anonymously for those of you not interested in the notoriety than can beset a person upon being published...lol.

it's great to hear that this is one of your most favorite projects. the island has that affect of people. very contagious in a serendipidous kind of way. you're doing a truly fantastic job by the way. love everything about the site, the blog and everything else that goes with it. thank you for your effort and expertise.

little things some times make the difference, like just a few minutes ago i had the notion to change up the feature post to the one the talks about "how to contribute content to the anna maria island life project and support your community too"... or something like that... lol.
and i created a new "plann your anna maria island wedding section"... which is something i am sure you would be interested in contributing to... lol.
hey, anything you can add would be appreciated, like maybe a feature article about what makes anna maria island weddings so special... just email me with and i put it up for you in our articles section and do a blog post on it too... lol.
